Wisdom over Aggression

                                       Micro Tale - 8

"You are throwing from your own eyes, aren't eh!" he turned his head in dissent and began smoking
"if my thoughts aren't, you would have not come her to enlighten"
*cigarette drops*

---- Inspire from lord Buddha

                                          About the story

  • In this story author depicts a bit heated conversation between a typical cowboy and a priest. Here the central theme is no matter how a person treat you, you have to stood rock solid at your morals and ethics.
  • As the cowboy in anguish or aversion or disgust blames that the knowledge of priest is quite artificial and his opinion don't hold true in this real world. Also in response to this he began smoking which adds more insult/mockery to the priest's saying.
  • In response to this impulsive statement anyone monger can loose his calm but our priest kept his nerve and just reminded him that if his learning is not that valuable then people like you wouldn't knocking his door for help
  • this made the cowboy in total shock as the cigarette dropped from his mouth. He was surprised by the wisdom and calmness of the priest.

                                              Tips & Tricks

  1. This is pretty easy micro tale based on the Old American cowboy theme.
  2. This micro tale reflects the importance of choosing crisp dialogues. As just by referring the dialogue reader can introspect the whole scenario and can also immaculate the tone the characters would be speaking.
  3. This tale also reflects the importance of choosing the props (like cigarette) aptly. Confused, are you ? Look! just read the tale again without including cigarette and you'll get the point :) For more instances in my 1st micro tale, I've used spectacles to show there shock & solitude state. Similarly you can try out props like "rustic guitar to express lost musician or talent", "shepherd's hat to represent a rustic or a masculine appeal". Pour out your fantasies in the comment box
Revenge (Micro Tale -1) - https://penandnotepad.blogspot.com/2019/01/revenge.html

4. Again as told in the 1st, 3rd and later micro tales the importance of writing 2-3 crisp tempting words (preferably reaction) under the * * As this helps the reader to not only frame the reaction of your character but also brings a sudden nali licking twist in your tale.

5. Laslty, I would like to remark that if your tale is inspired by someone's principle or belief or you have made your tale dedicating to a particular personality (please I'm not talking about piracy or copying someone's orignal work!) than don't refrain yourself from mentioning him. Readers too appreciate this practice and also for writers it can certainly earn few liking among those readers who are the ardent followers of that personality (whom you have mentioned, like in this case Lord Gautam Buddha)
