In opposite worlds

Micro Tale - 12

"will I see you again mistress?" with misty eyes, gulping the air presented her a rose. She was flabbergasted a second yet tilted her camber eyes towards the blue "I will!"  in her radiant bug eyed smile I pouched my lips to console myself with bitter truth.
*truth turned into a lie*

About the Story
  1. Here the author is parting from a Lady (as mistress used) who was very special to her. Author here presenting her a rose, and looking at her with full compassion, misty (tear dripping) eyes.
  2. Here the mistress, was very confident that she will definitely met her like the people meet their companion whenever they get a time to catch them up. Infact, when author asked her about this, she was very surprised.
  3. But contrary, author believes when someone part their world, it becomes very difficult for both of them to meet.
  4.  Yet beating all the odds and the belief of the author, she did come to meet him!

Tips and Tricks

  1. Again the importance of vocabulary is viable/displayed. Adding terms like flabbergasted or misty eyes, just add a decent contrast in the whole tale. You can easily sense, it would had been difficult for anyone to explain the soggy/crying eyes in just a word if not know misty. So, readers are advised to have a proper grip in vocabulary and this can only be done by reading and reading.
  2. Sometimes showing a contrast in the emotions can be a great way to engage the audience. Like author was in firm denial and Lady was affirmative to meet him. Here what turns out is not important but what emotions were shared, was important. This makes your tale so much memorable in the reader's eyes.
  3. Also adding props like rose, teak, pale leaf can tell lot about the mood and flow of the story. The props also helps the readers to imagine the story you curtail. Do comment down your favorite props and how you use them, I would love to know that!
