Can Jupiter decide my fate?

Micro Tale - 13

"Oh! son, let the Jupiter decide your fate of marriage" as the white mustached assembled his obscure mystic chart and began scrutinizing my palm with magnifying glass. "do you have any preferable date?" he baffled looking at my doleful statute eyes. "tell me the worst night of the Year!"
*he dropped the hand and so the glass*

About the Story
  1. In this tale, author went (or was forced to went) to Astrologer. Also, we can also incite that astrologer knew that author will gonna get marry soon. So, to shell out extra buck from him, he offered his services of predicting future.
  2. We, can easily see author was least interested in (from his eyes, no choices of date) and hardly believes in the wit of that pandit/astrologer. He was such that he challenges him to find the worst night of the year for the date of the marry.
  3. Astrologer was shocked, he dropped his magnifying glass and the palm of the author.

Tips and Tricks
  1. This tale is one of the best examples of importance of research around the work profile of a particular job and culture of the country. As in India, you would mainly find an astrologer with chart papers (having swasthik in it) and a magnifying glass to do the palm reading. Also, I could had used terot card reader or hypnotist but didn't because it is the marriage procession/time (remember)
  2. Also, usage of ** in the end is well displayed. Write content in this such, max one line and should be conclusive in itself.

  • Though, breaking laws in Micro Tale is very common. I would encourage my readers to write tales, just drip down the feelings you desire to write.. You'll be astonished how things went..
