                                       Micro Tale - 11

"pa, your doll will be miles away from you, papa" in tremulous voice she broke into the tears and hugged her as tightly as even devine can't apart them.
Dad patted her and in his beatific voice replied "your pa is there with you just twenty years younger" he pressed her cheeks what he always do to make her smile.

*as soon as the car left, he erupted into tears*

                                      About the story

  • It is a typical Indian marriage vidai scene. (Vidai is a hindu ceremony where the bride gives a final adieu to her loved ones)
  • In this author has shown a heart warming daughter-father conversation.
  • From this story it is cleary envisaged that how much close the daughter was to his father and so he was with her. If we criticaly analyze the tale, they both actually don't want to loose or part from each other but as life has many stages, parting from each other is somewhat one of the cards in the deck ie an inevitable harsh truth.
  • As the time slips, daughter grew emotional and worried to a thought of loosing him but his sensible dad just reminded her the beautiful things which she will adorne in this new journey (called marriage with his life partner) by pressing her cheeks.

                                       Tips & Tricks

  1. Again, I would lay stress on depicting an apt ambience. Like in my earlier work "Only her", I've used scenario of marriage and here too dealing with the same flavor and on top of that I archer the emotions of a women which makes it more captivating & suiting niche of my audience. Other scenarios can be "a cowboy fight" or "on gambling table" "or a political debate". So now, what are you waiting for. Pick up the pen and slit of paper and write one yours!
  2. Like in my previous tale "Me,behind the book cover" I've mentioned to use 2-3 word line such which have the power to descirbe a whole incident. Like "just twenty years younger" from this line it clearly emblems that the groom is as competent and charming as the daughter's father is. Also from this line, it shows how a father can calm down her rose fingure daughter just by his flamboyant soothness.
  3. Also like in previous tales, I would strongly suggest readers to compliment their character's dialogues or replies with proper actions or style of tone. Words like tremulous, squeal or cringe or beatific voice comes very handy in describing the style of tone. Also for actions like downcasted his eyes or hurricane of blue or she rage like a volcano or patted her or he does what he always do to make her smile are some a few.
  4. Pro tip - more you write, more you'll develop a better understanding of words and more skillful you'll become as a writer. Have a note - No one is a borned writer but some end their life as a writer.
